Following the successful and peaceful conclusion of the “Chhota Laat Sahab” procession on the occasion of the Holi festival, officials conducted duty inspections and foot patrols to review the security arrangements.
CRS Shahjahanpur: As in previous years, the ‘Chhota Laat Sahab’ procession taken out under the jurisdiction of Ram Chandra Mission Police Station on the occasion of Holi concluded safely and peacefully this year as well. After the procession ended, in order to maintain peace, security, and law and order in the area, the Additional District Magistrate (F.R.), the Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural), and the Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime), District Bareilly jointly inspected the procession route and duty points.
During this time, the officers checked the duties of police officials and personnel deployed at various locations and issued necessary instructions to perform their responsibilities with vigilance and alertness. The officers also conducted a foot patrol along the procession route to assess the security arrangements and inspected sensitive locations, providing necessary directions to the police force stationed there.
It was further instructed that continuous patrolling and monitoring be maintained in the city area in view of the Holi festival, and that in case of any suspicious activity or any situation related to law and order, senior officials be informed immediately to ensure prompt action. Additionally, directions were given to maintain smooth traffic flow and ensure that the general public does not face any inconvenience.
Senior police officials have appealed to the public to celebrate the festival of Holi with mutual love, harmony, and brotherhood, and not to pay attention to any rumors or misleading information. They have also urged citizens to immediately inform the police about any suspicious activity or issue so that timely and appropriate action can be taken
